Got two calls today from different phone numbers, both saying they were from some insurance firm wanting to do a review. The second call really got on my nerves, especially since the first came from an 0141 number. I’m seriously fed up with these random folks who now somehow have my mobile number - enough is enough. Is there any way to put an end to this madness?!

Didn’t know the number at all, so I just ignored it. Later I decided to look it up and found out it’s been linked with scams going back seven years. I haven’t put anything up on Gumtree for a long time, although I have been getting quotes for life insurance recently. Definitely blocked them now.

I just received a phone call from this number, where the caller insisted on discussing my life insurance policy. Blimey, she just wouldn't let up! No matter how many times I tried to get a word in, she kept chattering away without a care in the world. Curiously, I decided to let her prattle on for a good twelve minutes-after all, it’s their bill, not mine!

Hey everyone, heads up about some scammers using names like JULIE TAYLOR, ANNE MARIE, CECILIA, and LINDA CARRIGAN among others. They’re not really from the UK but claim connections to places like London and Manchester. Don’t hand over your money to these fraudsters - they’ve been running their con for more than five years now. They’re super sly and couldn’t care less if you end up in a tough spot. Be careful and keep your guard up. If you get any contact from these people, make sure to report it to the police straight away.

Guess who rang me today? It was Julie Taylor, yeah that same one. She somehow got me to hand over £450 - I feel daft now, knowing better and all, but it was for a mate of mine who’s got disabilities and the flat sounded just right. I’ve already reached out to the solicitor they supposedly work with, my bank, and even the cops. Their bank’s based over in Ireland, which worries me. The email she used is [email protected][###], and the number was 07456259181. Please, steer clear of these lot!

Just got a call from that Judie Taylor character again, using the number +44 7482 864323. He asked for my full name and address (I left out the door number though). I told that awful person straight up no money’s going anywhere until I’ve had a proper look at the place and met the landlord. Same old story about having hearing difficulties. Does anyone know if sharing my full name and address with this creep could cause problems? I’m really uneasy about it.

I can't get over how this idiot is still managing to pull the same stunt! He initially tried to con me way back in 2015, and just this week he came at me again with a bogus flat for rent. Clearly not bright if he thinks using the name Julie Taylor again would fool anyone.

My partner and I were searching for a flat in Norwich when we came across this Julie Taylor. She’s a right nightmare. We travelled all the way from London to check out the place, spent our cash on train tickets, and wasted so much time, only to find out the property wasn’t even real. She didn’t answer her phone at all! Honestly, I nearly got duped by her. If I had found this site sooner, I wouldn’t have lost my money and time like this. Please be cautious!

Putting down a deposit doesn’t lock you into renting my place after you’ve seen it - if you choose not to go ahead, I’ll give you the money back straight away, no questions asked. Hey, me and my partner just got scammed by some dodgy person. They asked for £500 in advance to view a flat, but turns out the place isn't even up for rent! My partner ended up losing that cash.
