Absolutely! It’s a right nuisance, this HMRC scam. I called him a few times, trying to lend a hand as he claimed to be able to assist me. “Falling out of your cot, are we?” I quipped, as he had a rather youthful tone. It’s a shame really, because one day the darkness he panders to will undoubtedly consume him, leaving him a mere shell of his former self. The deceitful little swine thinks he can outsmart everyone, but let’s be real, karma will catch up in its own time. I believe that even a hint of a conscience might earn him some divine intervention. It’s amusing-arrogance has its limits, and when death comes calling, there’ll be no shelter to hide in! I warned him that things could spiral downwards quickly, perhaps leading him to some rather drastic measures. And just like that, the call ended rather abruptly...

She struggled a bit with my surname but I let it slide. Then she started explaining the supposed lawsuit and asked me for my NI number. When I asked for her contact info and phone number, she suddenly got all aggressive, saying the police would be there any minute. At that point I just hung up. just got a call that began with a recorded message saying hmrc were gonna file a claim against me, press 1 for more info. when i answered, the person on the line sounded like they had an accent, maybe asian, not european though. they asked me to confirm my name, but i told them they must already know it since they called me. then they said their phone had just rung the other side. i wouldn’t give my name, and suddenly they got mad saying they’d call the police and i’d get arrested. then they just hung up on me.
