I wouldn’t call it a scam at all! If your dentist has submitted a referral, you’ll receive a text notification. Just type urn.name into your browser, and it’ll lead you to the tracking page. There, you can input your reference number to keep tabs on the status of your referral. Quite simple, really!

I got a text around half past two on the 10th of January, 2018, which read: "Your dental referral for the NHS has been assigned the reference number....... For more details, simply input urn.name into your browser." Something felt off about it, so I decided to investigate the number online and discovered it was a fraudulent message! Do yourself a favour and get rid of it!
