I got a text on my phone saying they found some PPI with a firm and wanted to check the address it was claimed from. They gave me a number to call back. When I dialled, it only rang once and then went dead, but my phone still showed it was connected.

Got a call from them but it just went straight to my voicemail. Left a message and could hear a bloke chuckling in the background. Pretty clear he had no clue he was actually on my voicemail. Not very professional at all.

I got a call from these folks claiming they worked for me?? NO WAY! I never deal with PPI firms again after a terrible run-in. Just sort it out yourself, it’s pretty simple. I'm blocking this number, they really need to stop these cold calls, it’s against the law now! Someone really should put an end to these PPI companies, they’re such a nuisance!

Not sure why loads of folks are moaning about HYC, they’re a proper regulated firm & helped me sort a claim. Just last week I got a cheque for a few thousand quid from Barclays thanks to them. Sure, they take a cut for all the hard graft but keeping 75% of a few grand is way better than having nothing at all!

I suspect this might be one of those pesky nuisance calls-definitely caught me by surprise! I think it’s from Manchester. Don't let yourself be deceived; it’s best not to return their call, as I've nearly fallen into that trap myself. It could end up being quite costly! Stay cautious!
