Got a call from this number today claiming to be from HMRC. They threatened to take legal action and told me to press 1 to talk to someone about my ‘case’. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call - definitely the best move. I’m planning to report it to the police. Watch out everyone, this is dodgy!

My 87 year old father in law, who is quite frail, and his wife, who’s sadly in the late stages of dementia, got a call like this. It’s clear to me these sorts of calls are truly wicked acts from people who will have to face judgement one day. Many folks brush this off with a bit of sarcasm, but that doesn’t change the truth of it. You can check out Revelation 20:11-15 if you want to see what I mean. If anyone behind this happens to come across my words - don’t chuckle or ignore it. Please see the wrong in your actions and turn away before it’s too late. Think of your soul’s future; after all, eternity is an awfully long time.

Got a robo call claiming HMRC was taking me to court. They told me to hit 1 to talk to my case officer. I called HMRC directly to ask, and they said it was a scam and they don’t get in touch like that. I’ve heard a few mates also got these dodgy calls recently, which is pretty scary.
