A woman called saying she was from Liverpool Victoria and that since I'd got a life insurance with them, they could offer me a good deal. I let her talk for a bit, then asked if I could question her. She agreed, so I asked why she thought I had a policy with them. She said it was linked through other companies. Then she checked if I currently had one, I said no, so she asked if I’d had one in the past. I told her I never had any with that firm. She mumbled something and hung up. Number’s blocked now.

Received a call initially about life insurance, so I went ahead and blocked the number. The next call was rather amusing-it claimed I’d made it onto a shortlist for a chance to win free tickets for a caravan and the EuroMillions lottery! Quite the cheeky con, if you ask me.

This sounds a lot like a scam - happened to me once before and I got duped, so there’s no way I’m falling for that again.
