I've just received a message from PALRecover, claiming that a firm named Doorstep Recovery Limited will be visiting my residence sometime between 9 in the morning and 9 in the evening over the next week. Having already alerted the police about the situation, they've instructed that my 16-year-old daughter should dial 999 should these individuals appear, especially since I'm currently in a mental health facility. I've sought legal counsel and they've informed me that these people would be in violation of the law if they show up unwarranted during those hours. Moreover, as no court ruling has been made, they cannot act as bailiffs. The police officer looking into PALRecover is currently off-duty but plans to get in touch with me as soon as he’s back. If by chance they do arrive, they are only required to discuss the alleged debt and set up a repayment plan. I’ve already proposed one to PALRecover, but they seemed utterly disinterested.

I’ve had to return to the authorities because this firm is still bothering me while I’m recovering in hospital. A police sergeant is scheduled to come and see me today about the situation concerning this lot. Just a heads-up to these con artists - BEWARE!

These blokes sent me a couple of texts, which I decided to disregard. Then, a few days later, they decided to show up at my doorstep at 8 in the evening! I ended up coughing up £345 just to see them off. It was all about a car loan I thought I'd cleared. Quite the unexpected nuisance, if you ask me!

Got two voicemails from these lot, didn’t bother replying, then suddenly three blokes showed up at my house. Ended up having to fork out £345 just to get them to leave. I called the police, but when they came round they said it was a civil matter, not a crime, so no arrest was possible. Absolute scumbags, hope they get what’s coming to them.

It appears that the same dubious firm has been bombarding me with text messages and also ringing my landline. They’re claiming that I have outstanding debts and have threatened to send recovery agents to my doorstep within the next three days. I've reached out to a solicitor about this issue, and they've informed me it’s all a ruse. I’ve been advised not to allow anyone entry to my home if they come knocking, but rather to request identification and snap a picture of it if they possess any. The only individuals authorised to seize goods from your residence are law enforcement officers, and only if there’s a county court judgment against you.

Hello there! I've been receiving these rather concerning texts lately, and to make matters worse, they’ve even included my postcode, stating they’ll arrive sometime between 9 AM and 7 PM. I've attempted to reach out for help, but all I encounter is an automated message-no one seems to be answering the phone. It’s quite distressing, and I'm really at a loss about how to put a stop to this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been inundated with text messages from these individuals for the past three weeks, and it's quite unnerving, to say the least. Initially, they claimed that I had an outstanding debt. Just two days later, I received another message stating that I now owed £105 in chase fees, followed closely by a warning that they would impose a £5 daily charge for any overdue amount. Their most recent threats suggest they’ll send a team from Doorstep Recover UK to my residence to confiscate my belongings, available for collection any day of the week between 9 in the morning and 9 in the evening. This whole situation has been incredibly distressing. I've scoured the internet but can’t find any information on this company, and when I ring the number, the person on the other end is exceedingly confrontational. Could this all be a scam?

I've been receiving a barrage of texts and phone calls lately, all claiming that I owe a debt and warning that they'll send out recovery agents. It's been ongoing for weeks, and they keep insisting they're from something called Pal Recover. It's honestly frightening! My sister looked into it and assured me it's a scam. This kind of harassment is really troubling for many individuals, not just the older generation.

I received a rather dodgy communication from these folks today. It began with "Dear Mr/Mrs Wendy" followed by my surname, which raised an eyebrow right away. They claimed I owed them £1671, but there was no pound sign or decimal point-just a very shoddy appearance that made it seem quite dubious. Regardless of its appearance, it’s concerning to receive anything like this.

I've received a few rather unsettling messages from this number, particularly when they insist on addressing me as Mr/Mrs (Surname). I tried returning the call, but found myself stuck on hold. What raises my suspicions is the utter lack of a proper introduction when you finally connect-none of the usual “you’ve reached Pal Recovery” or any instructions to follow. Instead, it’s just that generic hold music. It makes me wonder if they’re scouring online sources for information or if my details have been peddled off somewhere. Quite concerning, to be honest.

I got a rather dodgy message this morning from these scamming numpties claiming that I owe a hefty sum of 2323,7388. To start with, I instantly recognised it as a scam since it was sent to my work mobile, a number not many have access to. Additionally, the language they used was shockingly poor. My advice? Don't bother calling or replying, as they may incur charges for returning calls. Just ignore them and delete those messages without a second thought!

I just had a rather unpleasant encounter with a rather dubious individual who claimed they were dispatching someone to my home and threatening to come after me at my workplace. Received a message aimed at both myself and my spouse claiming I had a debt of £94,467.60. When I attempted to call, I was met only with an endless loop of irritating hold music and an automated system. When I replied to their text, it bounced back as undeliverable. We need to tackle these con artists head-on as a society. Should we turn a blind eye to their antics, it's the vulnerable among us who will suffer the most.

I've been getting messages purporting to come from a debt collection agency named PAL Recovery, urging me to ring them on this number. It's clearly a scam, especially since I don’t owe a penny to anyone! I thought I’d do a bit of research and, wouldn’t you know it, there was nothing about this company online.
