Somebody called claiming to be from HMRC and said they were going to take legal action against me for not paying tax!!! They said press one to talk to an agent. No way I did that, sounded dodgy.

I've attempted a rather unorthodox approach - I'm not entirely sure how successful it is, but here’s what I did: I simply set the phone down without actually terminating the call. I let the caller stew in silence for a few minutes before finally disconnecting. Quite an experience, to say the least!

Got a call from someone saying they knew about my credit cards, which I don't even own. Told them to take me off their calling list and they just hung up before I finished talking. They’ve been ringing me non stop for ages. This sort of thing could easily trick someone who’s vulnerable by pretending to have your bank info, really should be against the law.

I said to her, "Don't even think about selling me anything," and she replied, "Wow, you’re really rude…" I've had to change my landline after 30 years just cause of all these cold callers. It seriously should be against the law, why isn’t it?

Brunel Franklin PPI experts keep ringing me non-stop and just drop the call when I pick up. Eventually managed to chat with someone and find out who they were. Honestly, I was shocked it was a firm I’d hired years ago to get PPI back, and they’re still hassling me to check if I’ve got any PPI left to claim. Proper idiots!

Brunel Franklin PPI Specialists have been hounding me with frequent calls, only to disconnect as soon as I pick up. After enduring their calls, I finally managed to get in touch with someone, and to my astonishment, I found out they were the very company I had once turned to for my PPI claims all those years back! It’s mind-boggling that they’re still pestering me about any remaining PPI claims I might have. What a bunch of numpties!

I just ignored this call since almost all unknown numbers nowadays are either sales people, scam bots, or those annoying PPI refund folks, or if youre really unlucky, someone pretending to be sorry about a big car crash I allegedly had. If its a proper company they can always send an email.

I received two calls in quick succession, both claiming that I had reached out to them and they were simply returning my enquiry. They were quite adamant that I was entitled to reclaim some interest due to recent changes in the law regarding PPI, but I’ve never had such a policy in my life! Heatart just got back to me after I logged a complaint, by ringing my private mobile with a silent call, which was really creepy - ive got young kids here too. They mentioned they wouldnt deal with any county court stuff. They also claimed they purchased telemarketing info for virtually all UK landlines and most mobiles. Thats a load of rubbish, and when I called them out on it they hung up on me.

got a call from this number, it was just dead silent which felt really creepy especially with little kids around. these lot claimed they can figure out if anyone’s home just by checking the electric usage or something. we’ve had to get the police involved and thinking about taking it to court now.

I've been receiving calls from this number as much as six times a day! I've stated time and again that I wish to be taken off their contact list. They push solar panels and seem to get quite huffy when I express my lack of interest. Frustrating!
