She then insisted on confirming our number again, but we declined to share any details. She claimed to be reaching out regarding a life insurance quote!

It appears that this number is purportedly from the UK; however, BT has indicated that it originates from an external call centre, which means it’s somewhat outside their realm of authority. You can indeed block the number via their website, but mind you, that service does come at a cost. Interestingly, the representative we spoke to seemed uncertain whether this would effectively cut off the external calls. I recommend you enable the call display feature, and simply don’t engage with this number.

We've been getting about ten calls a day from this number as well. Just earlier today, we picked up and were told we’d won a holiday, but they wanted to confirm some personal details first. Naturally, we told them where to shove it. To top it off, they didn’t even get our last name right when they asked for us!

In the past three weeks, we've received six calls from this company, despite having asked them multiple times to refrain from contacting us. As we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, we shouldn't be receiving these calls at all. When we've tried to call back to ascertain their identity, they stubbornly refuse to provide a name and keep insisting that if we report them, they'll end up losing their jobs. After another attempt, we spoke with a supervisor who similarly wouldn't disclose their name and abruptly hung up on us. Quite frankly, it's infuriating!

I recently received a call from a claims company regarding a survey for reclaiming PPI. It seems they're on the lookout for individuals who might have been mis-sold payment protection insurance linked to loans and credit cards over the last decade.

Just had an incredibly rude foreign chap ring us, searching for our associate. The moment we informed him she wasn’t available and asked who was calling, he abruptly hung up! I dialled 1471 to trace the number, and after a lengthy wait, I was met with a recorded message about "Shopping". I couldn’t be bothered to redial merely for a name. Our answering machine has been inundated with similar calls, it seems like the callers don’t quite realise they’re speaking to a machine and keep repeating, "Hello, can we have a word with Mr....". It's been quite the nuisance!

These individuals keep ringing us incessantly-it's becoming quite bothersome! The last time they called, I was rather rude to the gentleman, as we’d been getting upwards of ten calls each day. Ever since we requested that they stop contacting us, we’ve found ourselves inundated with constant silent calls from unknown numbers. It’s absolutely ridiculous! If anyone has a solution for putting an end to this nuisance, I’d be most grateful if you could share it with us!

Residing close to Manchester, the call appearing on my Caller ID seemed quite genuine. However, as soon as a foreign gentleman asked for us by name, we decided to play a little hard to get and said we weren't home. He claimed to be wanting to chat about our life insurance or some such thing and said he'd ring back the following day. Now, the number is saved in our phone, and it shows up with the label "do not answer THIS". Funny, isn't it? Just to note, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but that doesn't seem to stop these nuisance calls from coming through!

Received a call the other day from this number; there was just a long pause on the line. As soon as I realised, I should’ve just hung up! Eventually, a friendly voice said “hi.” She seemed pleasant enough but kept asking for my partner. Honestly, I get inundated with these random calls, especially about “insurance.” I kindly told her they weren’t home, then said goodbye! Another call today for my other half.
