As soon as it connected, a woman’s voice came on saying something like, "Sorry, missed your call, but leave a message and one of our agents will return it." I just hung up straight away.

Lately, I've been getting a bunch of calls from different numbers all based in Manchester, with people claiming they can assist with cutting down my debts - except I don't owe anything at all. Today, a bloke with a foreign accent even tried to argue, insisting I was mistaken because they supposedly had a file saying I owed money. When I asked where that info came from, he wasn’t very forthcoming with an answer. I’ve already blocked loads of Manchester numbers before and I’ll add this one to the list too, but I bet I’ll be getting calls from similar numbers again soon!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice about some unsecured debt. When I asked why they had my name and phone number, this rude bloke with a foreign accent started going on about "I'm not trying to sell you anything." I wouldn't give out any info and pressed him again about how he got my details. Then he just hung up on me! What a bunch of idiots.
