Got a call from someone about claiming PPI. The guy was quite pushy and rude. I told him I’d already looked into it and wasn’t interested in using their service, but he just kept going on. Then he finished by saying it’s my loss, not his, and just hung up. What’s odd is they have both my mobile and landline numbers, and they’re both supposed to be ex-directory!

I've been inundated with calls from this number lately. This afternoon, they wanted to speak to me using my maiden name, and when I informed them that I haven’t taken out any loans, they got rather irked with me! I requested to be taken off their list, but the chap just insisted Manchester is vast, suggesting it could be anyone trying to reach me. Quite frustrating! - caller: PPI Reclaim

I got a call from this number earlier today. Curious about the 0161 prefix, I decided to ring them back. To my surprise, I was met with a swift voicemail message. It thanked me for my call and assured me that it was indeed Farringtons on the line, with a promise that someone would get back to me soon. - Caller: Farringtons

I had quite the extraordinary encounter recently. I mentioned this to my husband, and he's still shaking his head in disbelief. It all unfolded at the Holiday Inn in Paramus while I was nursing a drink at the bar, just enjoying a bit of solitude. Then, out of the blue, this curious chap appeared-definitely not your average punter. He struck up a conversation, and before I knew it, he'd treated me to a drink. It was all very charming until I felt a strange compulsion to follow him to his room. Once inside, he revealed some alarming details about the impending apocalypse. Quite surreal, I must say! - call from: Extraterrestrial Being

I received a call from this number on my mobile phone. Given the multitude of similar calls I’ve endured in the past, I took the liberty of searching this particular number online before it even had the chance to disconnect. I promptly added it to my block list, probably before they could finish their spiel on my voicemail. While I can't say for certain that the call involved PPI, I have faith in the experiences shared by others, which leads me to believe I made the right choice in blocking this unsolicited nuisance! I'd recommend that others do the same. Interestingly, I’ve noticed that as I continue this practice, the number of these bothersome calls seems to dwindle. - Caller: 01618500934

They keep saying any PPI refunds I've had before could be incorrect and I might be eligible for more money back. They say the rules have changed since my claim. Seems odd they're calling so much, maybe there's something in it? Though, if it was legit, I'm pretty sure MoneySavingExpert would have mentioned it by now.

I've recently begun receiving calls from this number, all related to PPI claims. They insisted that all conversations were being recorded, so I kindly reminded them that under the Telephone Preference Service, they could face a hefty £50,000 penalty for making unsolicited calls to a registered TPS number. I also pointed out that they were lagging three years behind other PPI con artists-quite the Titanic situation for them, if you ask me. Then, they had the audacity to claim I had rung them and they were merely returning my call! I pressed once more about the recording for quality assurance, and when they confirmed it, I didn’t hold back. Clearly, they imagine we’re a bunch of gullible muppets down here! For a bunch of cold callers, they exhibited an astounding level of rudeness and brashness. Normally, I would politely turn them down and ask for my number to be taken off their list, but given their aggressive tone, I found it more fitting to tell the lady to shove off and perhaps reach out to the Samaritans instead!

This number has been ringing me daily for ages, so i blocked it now so calls just go to voicemail. But today they actually left a message saying if i don’t want them to call me anymore i should call them back and they’ll stop. I mean, isn’t ignoring them enough of a hint? Feels like they’re not getting the point at all.

I've received around four calls from these idiots in the past week on my mobile. When I asked how they obtained my number, they claimed it was from places like McDonald's when I signed up for their public Wi-Fi. Honestly, I never provide my real information, so I knew they were just spinning a yarn and told them so. They then brought in a supervisor to have a word with me. I informed them that I charge £10 a second for these bothersome calls and took down their details to send them an invoice. They provided their address as Invive PPI, 207 Elizabeth House, Baddow Road, Chelmsford, CM2 0DG. I received a rather unexpected call on my mobile today where they started prattling on about claiming PPI back from my bank. When I mentioned that I'd be invoicing them £10 for every second of their call, they promptly put me on hold to fetch a manager. Once I was connected, I reiterated my charges for their interruption and asked for a billing address. They provided me with a Newcastle address, complete with postcode. I'm currently verifying whether this address is genuine and once I've confirmed its legitimacy, I'll be sending them an invoice for the £210 they kept me on the line. Not long after that, I plan to follow up with a court summons for payment. It seems a rather effective way to put a stop to these persistent nuisance calls, if I do say so myself.

I received a call from this number, and the individual on the other end introduced themselves, but they spoke so rapidly that I had to ask them to repeat themselves. Unfortunately, they mumbled through it again. They mentioned something bizarre about claiming compensation from my bank, which they claimed has been pulling the wool over the eyes of countless customers since the 1960s. When I calmly expressed my disinterest in continuing the conversation, the caller seemed to imply that I was being unnecessarily 'alarmed.' I informed them that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service, to which they insisted this wasn't a cold call, rather a national initiative. I reiterated my wish to end the call, and just like that, they abruptly hung up!
