So, there was this caller getting in touch with various contacts, claiming to dish out details about refunding money in relation to payment protection. It was quite amusing, really, since the loan contract she mentioned didn't even include payment protection at all! After that, she went on about a £40 fee to supposedly handle your claim and send you onto another department for further processing. At that point, we had a good laugh and decided to hang up, so I can't be certain what their next move was.

I received a rather amusing call today from someone claiming to be contacting me regarding a refund for payment protection. The irony was palpable because, upon reviewing my loan agreement, it was clear there was no payment protection included! She then proceeded to suggest that there’s a fee of £40 to handle my claim and to pass me on to someone else for further processing. At that juncture, we had to end the call, as things had become quite nonsensical. I can only imagine where this strange saga leads next!
