We made it quite clear that we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and that he ought to double-check before placing calls to us. To say he wasn’t particularly pleased about it would be an understatement! After a brief and not-so-pleasant exchange, we decided it was best to end the conversation. Naturally, we’ve lodged a complaint with TPS. However, I can’t help but feel sceptical about whether anything will actually come of it. What’s the point of having TPS if it doesn’t deter these calls?
