Received a call from a bloke with a Russian accent, said he was ringing from Manchester. Claimed I made an e-wallet back in 2021 and apparently had bitcoins stored up worth about 7,000 euros. He wanted me to install some sort of e-wallet app to cash out the funds. Total con artists!!!

Never give out your private keys to anyone. The person on the other end is most likely a fraudster, maybe got hold of a user list from some defunct crypto platform.

Got a call telling me I've got loads of bitcoin waiting for me, but first I needed to send over some cash to claim it. Bit fancier than the old "Nigerian prince" tale, but honestly, too much of a joke to fall for.
