Came home tonight to find a voicemail from the number 02568945825. They claimed to be from HMRC and said there was an arrest warrant out for me over tax evasion, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone or call a case officer at 01618503219. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam - I actually spoke to HMRC about my tax code last week after I found out I’d underpaid last year, and they just sorted it by changing my tax code.

Total jerks! Seriously, just don’t pick up if they ring, and whatever you do, don’t call them back. The best thing is to block the number right away. Just a heads up so you don’t get caught out!

I called the number back and a lady answered saying it was the wrong number. She told me to double check the digits and call again.

Was told they were from some internet provider.. I asked what company they worked for and the person suddenly switched to speaking in another language, then started chuckling before just hanging up on me. Proper weird!

My old phone only lets me automatically decline calls, so I just dont pick up. Could be dodgy, better safe than sorry.

This number has rung me loads of times, all missed calls tho, and once I got a voicemail but it was empty. After seeing what everyone else has said, I’m definitely gonna block it.

Oh, here we go again with yet another dodgy number ringing me out of the blue. It’s rather obvious to me that these calls are nothing but scams. You can often spot them a mile off by the way the number's set up-with those pesky repeating digits, like a string of 777s, or area codes that seem a bit off. They’ve got that odd, memorable look to them that just screams ‘dodgy business’!

Got called about six times today, but whenever i answer, complete silence. So i just sit there till they give up and hang up, guessing they just wasting their credit.
