I got a call from someone who wanted some simple info and mentioned that a lot of banks have been saying folks don’t have PPI when they actually do. I wasn't too sure at first but ended up giving them some basic details. A few days later I got a form through, filled it out and not long after Natwest started reimbursing me for fees from like 10 years back! Santander also got in touch saying I had PPI with them before, just need to fill in a form, but for the life of me I can’t recall the name of the PPI provider.

My husband got a call from someone who said he could help him reclaim PPI payments. The caller claimed his company was authorised by the Ministry of Justice and assured us they wouldn’t need any bank details, saying it was safer not to share that info. However, he did ask who we’d paid the PPI to, our dates of birth, and how long we've lived at our current address. The bloke called himself Joseph Scott and the number was 0161 839 0072. The chat lasted a good few minutes, and he promised to send the forms straight away, but we still haven’t received anything.

I got a call from a bloke with a British accent, who said he worked for a company dealing with Claines PPI claims. He managed to get hold of my full name, birthday, and where I live. He told me his name was Joe Scotland.

I got a call from a bloke with a British accent who said he’s from a company dealing with Claines PPI claims. He managed to get all my details - full name, dob and my address. He told me his name was Joe Scott and also asked for my email. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
