We’ve been sent a bill for £199 for some sort of child poverty poster, same as what you’re saying. There’s been a handful of annoying calls, the last one even trying to threaten us with a bad credit rating. We always just hang up on them. I think they got our info from our website. The invoice says you can pay by phone with a card - like we’d fall for that! It’s really frustrating to keep getting these nuisance calls though, and I bet some folk get frightened and actually pay up. How do these lot get away with carrying on like this?

We got sent a bill from this firm for £199, then a while after, a letter about debt recovery arrived. So, we checked with Trading Standards and the Citizens Advice Bureau who told us to send them a letter by recorded delivery, saying we contested the invoice. We also asked them to provide all the details about the order. Turns out, they’d copied the advert straight from our Yellow Pages listing. We explained to them that we don’t own the copyright on that listing, Yellow Pages does, and that we’d be letting Yellow Pages know. After that, they cancelled the invoice immediately, which we got confirmed via email within 10 minutes of our call. The takeaway is, don’t let them push you around. Fight back and don't be afraid to play their game a bit.

This company has called us twice now, both times making threats about payments for an ad we never signed up for. Just today, they rang back and played a recorded phone conversation, but it’s been obviously cut and doesn’t actually prove we ever said yes to any adverts. It’s the second time we’ve been caught up in something like this. Is there anything that can be done to put a stop to it?

I just received a bill for £199 from Inprint Design for something I never signed up to. Planning to flood their inbox with unwanted emails and see how they deal with that!

Twice now I’ve been sent letters demanding £199 for a poster I never asked for, claiming it’s linked to helping with child poverty. They even called me about the bill. I’m 74 and it’s getting to the stage where I’m avoiding the phone altogether in case it’s them ringing again. Can’t someone do something to shut down this company, ~INPRINT?

Just got a bill for £1,991 for a poster advert I never agreed to. I can’t recall ever speaking to anyone from that company on the phone. I’m going to get in touch with trading standards to look into this.

I totally feel the same as everyone else here. It happened to me just like others have said - they speed through the last part of the call so fast it’s impossible to really catch what they’re trying to say. They never mention anything about costs or ads beforehand, only slipping that info in right at the end when they’re recording. I always thought any recorded call should start with a clear warning that it’s being recorded. We’re all super busy and it’s easy to miss things when someone’s talking so rushed. Probably business pressure or something? Feels like a scam to me. Using charity as a front to make money like this really should be stopped. It’s already tough enough running a business honestly, and these types just make it harder for legit charities and honest sales folk to be trusted. From now on, if someone calls and it’s not about my actual business, I’m just hanging up straight away. Just a heads up to everyone else out there - watch out!

Did you get any more calls from them? We got contacted by Inprint too, and last week we received an invoice. Then today, another letter turned up asking for payment again.

My husband got a call from some firm claiming to be from Oftel, and even though he clearly said he wasn’t interested, they ended up asking if he’d be happy to pay £199. What a nuisance these companies are, always pestering you like that!

Just got a phone call from inprint design about paying for an advert I never even asked for. They had my info all wrong and now they're talking about taking me to court. Total scam if you ask me, no way they’d win in any legal case.

I got a bill for £199 for a child poverty poster that I never ordered or agreed to. They bounced back a recording of a phone call we had, but it was clearly edited. I haven’t backed that kind of campaign for more than a decade because of past dodgy schemes. Plus, they even had some of my info all wrong.

I just received a bill for £399 for an advert I never ordered, and to make matters worse, they had the wrong details on it. When I challenged the charge, they sent me a doctored phone recording. Normally, you're supposed to say if you're recording a call, but they didn’t mention anything at the beginning. Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.

Just received a bill for £399 for an ad I never ordered, and to make things worse, the info on the ad was all wrong. When I questioned it, they sent me a tampered phone call recording. Usually, if a call is being recorded, you’re supposed to be told at the beginning - they never did this. The company behind it is INPRINT DESIGN. Make sure to mention INPRINT DESIGN in any reviews or comments so others can spot this scam through Google searches.

A few weeks back, we got a poster in the post with a bill for £199 from a company called INPRINT, claiming we’d agreed to an advert with them. We hadn’t agreed to anything, so we didn’t pay. Shortly after, the phone rang constantly from them demanding payment. When we told them we never agreed to any ad, they said they had a recording showing we did. They played it back, but it sounded like it had been cut and edited. We still haven’t paid, and now a debt collection agency letter arrived, same address as INPRINT, threatening court if we don’t pay £199 plus £150 in fees. We’ve now reported the whole thing to trading standards to look into it.

My partner got a call about sponsoring a child poverty ad, which he never said yes to. Later, we got a bill for over £200 that he sent back straight away. Today, I got a call from a lady (number not shown) who insisted we must pay because they don’t allow cancellations. She gave me the number above for him to ring them back. This definitely feels dodgy, so don’t bother with it.

I got a bill for £299 along with a poorly made poster about child poverty that had my phone number on it. When I asked about it, they played me a cut version of a chat ending with someone saying "Inprint, £299". I asked them to play the full recording but they wouldn’t. After reaching out to Trading Standards, I sent them a letter by recorded delivery. Inprint called me again demanding payment, claiming they never got the letter, but the tracking showed it was signed for by someone named "Baker". I told them their behaviour was shady and dishonest. This is definitely a SCAM.

We've also had problems with Tina Inprint pestering my workplace! We made sure to note down every call and detail, then sent everything over to Trading Standards. After they stepped in and rang the numbers themselves, the calls finally stopped. Honestly, I could write a huge list of dodgy companies trying to bother us. Absolute rotten bunch!!!

So, a bloke phoned me asking if he could drop off some community flyers, and I said that was fine. Then he wanted to double-check my address, which he went through on the phone, and that was the end of it. However, a week later, I got a call from someone called INPRINT demanding £295! They claimed I'd signed up for an advert with them, which I hadn't. I never agreed to anything, never got any advert proof, and definitely didn’t agree to pay that amount. They kept calling me nonstop, pestering me for the cash. I even requested to hear the recording of our call, but it sounded cut up and mumbo jumbo, like they’d tampered with it. They still call me, but I just hang up every time. Honestly, it's a complete SCAM!

A couple of months back, we were bombarded with about 7 or 8 calls over just two days, all coming from the same area code. We only ever support Air Ambulance, no one else. Then, on 21/12/2015, we got sent an invoice for £199 along with a Save the Children poster featuring our logo. When I rang the company, INPRINT, they claimed to have a recording of me agreeing to the order. I contacted Trading Standards who advised me to send them a recorded letter requesting this supposed recording and stating I won’t be paying. It’s such a waste of my time and cash. I reckon the police should be involved, but so far they won’t touch it, and the fraud squad couldn’t care less. www.cloxontime.co.uk

So, I got this invoice from Inprint about something to do with Child Poverty and it had our company's logo on it! I ended up talking to a woman called Tina who let me hear a recorded message of one of her colleagues supposedly getting me to agree to the order. But honestly, all I could make out was a messy jumble of yes and no, nothing clear about agreeing to buy anything. Now, Tina and someone else named Laura keep ringing me every day, and I've already got two more invoices through! I’m pretty sure it’s a scam since I’ve no authority to approve stuff like this for my company, especially charity things which we only back with staff approval. Does anyone know how I can report this annoying harassment?

I just received a bill for £200 from In Print with my info on some child poverty advert. They actually had a voice recording of me saying yes and no, but I never gave permission for this ad at all. Definitely looks like a scam, so watch out!

We got a bill from Inprint, but when we asked about it, they said the ad was for Child Poverty? I ended up chatting to someone called Tina, who gave me a voicemail recording where supposedly one of their staff was ordering the advert. Trouble is, all you can hear is a lot of yes and no answers, no clear confirmation of any order.

Got a call from someone claiming to be INPRINT, said they’re from Manchester but I can’t find any legit company with that name. Sounds dodgy to me - pretty sure they’re sending out fake invoices. If they ring you, just hang up straight away and don’t talk to them!
