I've got my phone set to automatically silence calls from numbers that aren't saved, sending them straight to voicemail. Usually, if it's a scammer, they won’t bother leaving a message. This caller didn’t leave anything either, so I just blocked the number and wiped it from my recent calls.

I picked up this number, even though I knew better. The caller, who was quite vague, inquired about a name I didn't recognise and claimed to be from Eon, attempting to entice me with an improved contract. However, this isn’t a legitimate Eon call at all-our company has just recently signed a new agreement. I have a strong feeling this might be some kind of tracing service, trying to locate the individual they mentioned at the start. I’d advise against engaging with them in any way!
