Sometimes they claim they’re from British Gas, other times it’s Npower. When you ask for their actual company name, they just make up something that’s not real. They change their stories and even use women to try and seem more trustworthy. Watch out! If British companies need to reach you, they usually send a letter or an email, or if they phone, they’ll confirm your account details like name, account number or direct debit info. These people?
