Got a call asking for someone called Christine, but I told them no one by that name lived here. Then they wanted to know who handles my gas bill. I just ended the call because it felt like a dodgy scam.

Picked up but didn’t say anything, I could tell it was a call centre so I stayed silent. After a bit, they just hung up. Decided to check the number here and saw loads saying it’s probably a scam. Added it to my block list.

So my missus picked up the call and the person on the other end already knew my name, claiming there was an outstanding electricity bill at some different address. She told them it wasn’t our problem and hung up straight away. Later, I checked the number here and turns out it was a scammer trying to trick us.

Got a call from someone asking for a bloke named Steve, but we don’t have anyone by that name here. Then they started asking about our NPower account, I told them we don’t use NPower anymore. Next thing, they wanted to know who we’re with now and tried squeezing info out of me. They said they’d ring back later and asked who they should ask for, but I told them no way am I giving any details. Feels like a total scam to me.

Never pick up or return calls from this number, it’s a total con. They’re faking being from N-power.

Got a call from some company claiming to sort my gas renewal for a better deal. It was all just a sneaky way to find out when my contract ends. They didn’t ask me first if I wanted the call, and weirdly, they already knew my first name! Felt really dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Eon about an issue with my account. When I told them I'd ring back on the number from my actual bill, they just hung up on me!
