Today, I got a call from this number claiming they needed to discuss a car accident I was supposedly involved in. I told them I hadn’t been in any crash, but the woman with an Indian accent insisted I had. I was pretty shocked she was so pushy about it. When I mentioned I’m actually with the police, she just cut me off and ended the call. Mad experience!

Same old story: the caller barely spoke English properly, there was loads of noise in the background, and they gave hardly any info but insisted I’d been involved in an accident. I recently put up an advert on Gumtree, so I reckon that might be why I’m getting these calls. I also got an email from someone saying they wanted to buy my stuff but couldn’t come and collect it because they’re disabled, and they asked if they could pay via PayPal - classic scam stuff.

Got a call yesterday from some lady with an Indian accent sayin’ there’d been a car crash. Then today, a guy rings me from the exact same number, again talkin’ about an accident. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from a ‘solicitor’s office’ about a crash I supposedly had in the past couple years. Sounded like an Indian call centre with all the weird background noise. Classic car accident scam if you ask me.

These lot are definitely scams, looks like they get phone digits off Gumtree ads or something. Don't hand over any of your personal details to them, just stay clear.
