A bunch of jokers pretending to be a utility services company. What a right laugh!

Just got a call from these lot, offering a free boiler like all the others. After hanging up I did a 1471 and the number showed up as 0161 321789, which when I looked it up turned out to be another dodgy one. They kept going on about the Government Green Deal, so I checked online and found the official website where you have to fill out a form to check if you qualify for any support. I filled it out but don’t reckon I’m eligible for anything. Why can't someone put a stop to these con artists ringing all the time? I’ve made an appointment for an assessor to come round on Monday, and I’ll gladly waste as much of their time as I can, but they won’t get a penny from me. Maybe if enough of us do that, they’ll go bust and leave us alone for good.
