10 January 2014: I received a total of five missed calls today from the number 01618265780 while I was out and about. In the past 17 days, I've received an astonishing nine calls-two of which were today alone! Not a single voicemail has been left, mind you. This afternoon, I decided to pick up for the first time, and what do you know? The line went completely silent. Whoever is on the other end is truly a right pest. I've gone as far as to assign a distinct ringtone for this particular number, so now I shan't even have to glance at my phone to see who's ringing. I've also taken the liberty of registering my number with the Telephone Preference Service to cut down on those pesky marketing calls, but I rather doubt it will make a difference with this relentless caller, whether they be a person, a lesser being, or a bloody automated system!
