I got a call from 01618264768 today, some woman called Lias claiming she was from the Department of Health & Social Care wanting to check on my COVID vaccinations. This was actually the second time they’ve called me. I just ended the call and blocked the number right away.

They got blocked but came back calling from a different number, still with the same area code. I’ve reported them already. Seriously, don’t bother wasting your breath chatting with these pests!!

Got a call from a woman claiming she was ringing from the vaccine centre, asking if we’d had our newest jab. When I rang the number back, it turned out to be some finance firm. Proper dodgy!

Got a really creepy call round 4.15 pm on Bank Holiday Monday. It was a young bloke with a strong Far East accent. He used my first name and claimed to be from some 'Department of Heath and Social Security' - which I’m pretty sure isn’t real. He asked how I was, and I told him if I had any health issues I’d just go through the NHS. Then he just hung up on me. Strange and unsettling, to say the least.

I had a call from what seemed like another scammer, so I decided to contact the Department of Health directly. They got back to me and basically said this: If you get cold calls like this that you didn't ask for, you should report it to Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk/. Thought I'd share in case anyone else comes across these dodgy calls. Hopefully this helps some of you. Cheers.

I got a call from this number, yet there was nothing but silence on the line when I picked up. Quite odd, really!

Absolutely infuriating! I just picked up the phone and a lady was on the line asking about my vaccination status. As soon as I began to dig a bit deeper with my questions, she quickly mentioned transferring me to her supervisor. This so-called supervisor then proceeded to assert they were reaching out on behalf of a so-called National Health Charity, claiming they were gathering contributions for Great Ormond Street Hospital. What a sham!

I've been getting multiple calls from someone claiming to be with 'Public Health', using all sorts of different phone numbers. Definitely not answering anymore, just blocking and reporting each one.

Got another call this morning at 9.27 from this very number. I picked up, seeing it flagged as maybe a scam on my phone, so I was prepared. The bloke kept insisting on my identity, even threw my middle name in there. When I questioned who he was, he tried to be all polite with a "Hello Mrs..." but I pressed him again, saying he sounded dodgy and asked what company he was with. Then he asked if I’d had my COVID jab, which I told him was none of his business. After that, he muttered something like “ah, you haven’t” and when I straight up called him a scammer, he just hung up on me!

They rang me asking if I’d had the vaccine, but as soon as I started asking questions, they just cut me off. So I phoned back and got through to a ‘supervisor’ who sounded all flustered. First they said they were from the national health service, then switched to saying they were fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Then they claimed I must have dialled the wrong number when I called back since no-one there asks about vaccines. It definitely smelt like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up since I didn’t know it. Checked online afterwards and found out it might be a scam. Definitely going to block it now.

I missed their call earlier and when I tried ringing them back, it just said the number wasn't valid.

It showed up as a possible scam, so I just ignored it. Then I blocked the number and got rid of it.

Got the call and picked up, but there was complete silence on the other side and then it just hung up. Seems like one of those auto dial scams trying to check if the number is active.

This chap clearly pulls your information from online sources and then bombards you with it before you even get a chance to utter a word. Refused to disclose his location, which is a clear red flag. Definitely one to steer clear of!
