I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number, claiming that I had £2987.62 owing from back in 2007 related to a credit card. The thing is, I’ve never actually had a credit card, so I found it all a bit dodgy. When I pressed him for more details, he got all flustered and struggled to provide clear answers. I mentioned that I was conducting some checks as we spoke, which clearly ruffled his feathers. The mobile number that rang me was 0746644857. To top it all off, he didn’t even get my name right - he introduced himself as Paul Wilson (or so he claimed). Quite the charmer, right?
