Got a call from a bloke pretending he was with some roofing and insulation company. He said they wanted to check our loft for any mould or damp problems. I told him we’d already had someone look at it recently and weren’t interested. Our number isn’t listed anywhere and we’re signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, so that call shouldn’t have happened.

I got a recorded call from someone pretending to be a specific person (can't recall the name they used) talking about insulation and asking what kind I have. I didn’t respond, so they left a few short messages trying to get a reply. I have no idea which company they were from and I just let it go since I didn’t answer. When I tried ringing the number back, it played a message about valuing my call and that an agent would be with me shortly, but it just kept looping the same thing for a while before hanging up. Classic scam, and they don’t seem to care about the TPS at all.
