My elderly in-laws got a call that really freaked them out. The person said they were from HMRC and accused the "Occupier" at their address of fraud, but never gave full details or any specific info. They warned that if they didn’t follow orders, the police would be sent round to their home. It’s clearly some kind of scam aiming at random folks, especially targeting vulnerable people like my in-laws. It took some time to get them calm again after the stressful call. Just wanted to warn everyone to watch out for this scam!
