So, I got a call from this number earlier today, 27/01/21 around 2:45 pm. Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the area code. No voicemail or anything left. Took a quick look on this site, then I went ahead and blocked it and deleted the number.

Over the past couple of days, I got two calls from the same number. I picked up the second call, and the woman on the line already had my name and claimed she was ringing from some legal advice service about car damage I supposedly reported. Since I never made any such claim, I told them to remove me from their list straight away.

It’s really worrying they have my full name, address, and postcode. When I told the woman I was going to pass her number onto the police, she just ended the call. It’s high time they started taking these calls seriously, especially with how vulnerable some people are.
