On 24/11/2022, I got a call from 07878 904 854 claiming to be from Three Mobile, then suddenly switched to saying it's Curry Mobile. They said they wanted to upgrade my contract, but I'm actually with O2? They promised 50% off on new phones plus unlimited data. When I asked for more info, they gave me a customer service number, 01618234436. Turns out, it's a scam!

Seems rather plausible, doesn't it? They've stated that their registration is linked to the Mobile Campus at Hatfield Business Park, located on Mosquito Way, Hatfield AL10 9BW, here in the UK. That particular address is associated with EE offices, but who knows? It could all be a ruse. There’s definitely something a bit dodgy about the whole situation.

I received a call from 07738 773798, purporting to be from 3 Mobile, touting some kind of promotional deal. When I questioned their legitimacy by asking, "How can I trust that you're not just another scam?" they offered me a number (01618234436) to ring if I wanted to validate their claims. Quite amusing, really! I noted that 0161 is the area code for Manchester, so I asked this so-called representative where their promotions base was situated. He replied with 'Berkshire', which honestly didn’t add up at all.
