I recently received a call on my landline from someone named 'James', claiming to be from a TripAdvisor guide. He had a Manchester home area code and mentioned an all-inclusive holiday we took a few years back. He seemed quite insistent that we were entitled to £2000 each for every person who joined us on that trip. While it's true we did enjoy a holiday, I'm highly sceptical about this supposed payout. I requested his contact number, saying I would ask the primary account holder to return his call. He was very courteous, but I can't shake the feeling this is a scam. I've searched for any link between TripAdvisor and the phone number, but there’s nothing. It just seems outlandish - who really hands out money like that?
