Like everyone else here, I keep getting calls where no one speaks and they hang up if I say hello. I reckon it’s one of those PPI scams. I recently got a message about whether I’d ever had an Egg credit card, saying I might be due some PPI compensation. I said yes, and then this 0161 number showed up asking me to pick up when they ring. I just blocked the number now.

Since the 13th of March, I’ve been getting calls from this number almost daily, and some days they ring me several times! It’s honestly getting ridiculous. I’ve blocked the number, but they just don’t seem to take the hint at all.

Got a call about a PPI claim, and asked for my husband. Told them he wasn't in 'cause he’s at work all day, and they got pretty rude about it. They said they'd ring back at 6, but I said he wouldn’t be around then. So they said they'd try 5 instead, but then rang me again just 15 minutes later. Now there’s this weird pause before someone answers and then they just hang up straight away. Really annoying!
