Proper irritating! When I picked up, all I heard was music before the call just dropped. Looks like another sneaky scam to me. I’ll be reporting it to my network and see if they can put a stop to it.

They’ve been ringing randomly at all hours for the past month, so I started ignoring them after checking online to find out who they might be. Today, I got a call from +35312477699 which I didn’t pick up. Looked that one up here too but still can’t figure out who they are. And just like that, not even 10 minutes later, the 016 number called again! Proper annoying.

This number has rung me a couple of times now. The first call I picked up but there was just silence. Just got another from the same one and someone actually spoke, gave his name as Ex and said he was calling to help save me some cash since I’ve been with Vodaphone for ages. Bit weird tho... Since I was waiting to hear from someone local to Stockport, I almost rang back, forgetting that they probably don't have this number. Thankfully, I checked online first and didn’t return the call. I keep this PAYG as an emergency backup - it's actually a benefit from my main contract. So if anyone calls pretending to be from my provider and asks for bank info, I’ll know straight away they're trying to scam me.
