Got a couple of calls from this number earlier, they said they were energy consultants covering my neighbourhood. Claimed I could cut my gas and electric bills by as much as 35%. Wanted me to answer 5 quick questions to check if I’m eligible. Told ’em no thanks and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some energy saving firm trying to push their service. I looked up the number and it's been used by them for about 7 years, always with the same hard sell. Best to not even engage with these calls. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Energy advisors keep ringing me all the time trying to push loft insulation, wall insulation, or solar panels. It's gotten so annoying! You’d think with the Government and the Telephone Preference Service in place, these calls wouldn’t be happening anymore. But nope, they keep coming back nonstop.

Even though I’m on the TPS list, I still got a pesky call. A woman called Meghan claiming she was from Home Energy and was trying to pitch some sort of energy discount. She kept asking for details, saying it was to see if I could get the savings. When I didn’t provide the info, she just ended the call. Quite annoying!

Oh yeah, this is totally one of those energy saving scams. The official Energy Saving Trust actually warns everyone that it’s a con. The person on the phone claimed they were in partnership with the Energy Saving Trust - which is a load of rubbish. They’re definitely not linked. Better make sure you report these lot!

Fortunately, I was visiting and told him to leave immediately. Absolutely avoid picking up calls from this number!

The person just hung up as soon as I picked up - either they were too cheeky to say sorry for dialing the wrong number, or it's those appliance sales people who call, then hang up after I say my wife's not about, 'coz they reckon I’ll get tricked - if only they knew she wouldn’t be taken in either, maybe they’d stop bothering me.

Had this number ring me like 4 times in the past couple of hours and I just don’t pick up cause I reckon there’s nobody actually there. How do these muppets still get to bother folks? You’d think the phone companies could sort it, maybe they can track these numbers but probably just don’t care if cash’s involved. Some persistent lady rang me, gave her name right away and even stuck around when my Call Guard system asked her to identify herself. I had just got out the shower when I answered and she jumped straight into her usual script... I let her chat for about half a minute before telling her she’s just a telemarketer and to cram whatever she was selling right where the sun don't shine... then I hit the 'Block' option!

I got a call from this number today claiming to be from Direct Energy. They said they weren’t trying to sell me anything like the usual calls I get, but that they could help me save some cash. They asked me to confirm my address and if I was employed. After I answered, they told me I qualified for some savings but said there was a high demand nearby and I needed to act fast. Once I told them I wasn’t interested and was happy with my current energy supplier, the person got quite rude and just hung up on me.
