I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from a debt collection agency. She insisted that I owed a debt dating back to 2007, which is clearly a load of nonsense.

Got a call from a woman saying she was chasing debts and asked if I owed anything. If it was a proper company, they’d know who I owed and how much, right? Felt really fishy so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent in a really loud call centre, asking for me by my full name. She said she was from some credit company and that I owed money. I asked "Do I?" and she just ended the call. I've blocked the number but these annoying companies always seem to use different numbers.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from some Credit Investigation Bureau, asking for my details. This is the second time this week, but they used different numbers. Definitely a scam. What’s the use of signing up for TPS when these calls keep coming through? It’s clear they don’t have any control over it!

Got a call from Credit Investigation Bureau, they mentioned my name and claimed I owed some money. I told them I didn’t, and she just apologised for disturbing me and hung up nicely. She spoke with a thick Asian accent, so it was quite hard to catch everything she said. Bit of a hassle and definitely sounded like a scam to me, especially since I don’t really have any debts.

Credit Investigation Bureau - They had my details, including my number. They said I had loans I hadn't paid, but I told them no. The woman, who sounded Indian, checked again and then ended the call. I usually ignore calls from automated numbers or the people they put me through to, so I didn’t hang about for any sales talk. If it’s automated, I’m not interested anyway!

I reached out for assistance with managing my debts, and when I disclosed that I had £2 million, they abruptly informed me that they were unable to help and then just ended the call. Quite baffling, really!

Just a heads-up, folks-this is definitely a scam. The caller had my name and started rattling on about some supposed ‘debts’ of mine. I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up. Stay vigilant!

As soon as I picked up, they disconnected without saying a word. I've been bombarded with calls from various Manchester numbers this week. The strange thing is, I don't know anyone from that area who isn’t already saved in my contacts. Hence, I've gone ahead and blocked every number that’s reached me, but it's as if they’ve got a whole array of new ones to try. Quite the nuisance, really!

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent saying they were from the "Credit Investigation Bureau" about some debts supposedly owed. The guy called himself Dean. When I told him I don’t owe anything, he kept insisting I must have some loans or credit deals. I told him no and asked him to take my info off their list. He said he’d make sure I wouldn’t get any more calls from them. Yeah right, as if!

Got a call from Capital Finance sayin my mum has some debt linked to my phone number. They knew her address but didn’t say much about the debt itself. When I told them she passed away 3 years ago and never had any credit or owed anything, they suddenly changed their story, saying they never claimed she owed anything and were just checkin if she might have any debts they could assist with.

I received a rather unsettling phone call from someone claiming that my late mother had an outstanding debt. They were curiously able to provide her name and address, but when pressed for specifics regarding the debt, they were surprisingly vague. I pointed out that my mother passed away three years ago and had no history of credit, so any further information would be necessary for her estate. They then pivoted, saying they were merely reaching out to offer assistance with any debt she might have had. After I reiterated that they had initiated the conversation about a debt, they abruptly cut the line. Quite baffling, really!

Definitely a scammer. Said something about debts and having fresh info. When I asked questions, said they were calling from a BT landline because of rules. Obviously, this is a dodgy character trying to pull a fast one. They were going on about some debt-related issue and insisted they had fresh info. When I pressed them for details, they said they were using a BT landline as if that made it all above board. It was clear they weren’t a local, their English was a bit off. In the end, I just let loose with some choice words until they couldn’t take it anymore and hung up. I wasn’t going to let them get away with their nonsense!

+441618204952 sounded like an Indian accent with a bunch of other Indian voices in the background. They kept saying I was in their system for owing money. I told them I already had plenty of debts, so they started talking about IVAs or trust deeds (like what we have in Scotland). I humoured them for about 5 minutes, then called them out saying I don’t actually owe anything. Then they started arguing, threatening to report me to the financial authorities for wasting their time, lol. Blocked them straight away.

Same here, they had an Indian accent. I tried to get her to clarify exactly what the call was about, but she kept dodging the question.
