Today, I received a call from someone purporting to be a technician from BT, insisting that I must grant him access to my computer to prevent a potential breach of my data. Honestly, I’m not bothered about my old desktop; I haven't even switched it on in ages! Regardless, this individual is definitely not who they claim to be. It’s quite clear he’s just a fraud trying to pull a fast one.

I had a curious encounter with someone who claimed to be from EE broadband. They mentioned my address and enquired whether I had received a letter regarding a £4 price hike. The thing is, I don't even have an EE broadband account under my name, which made the whole situation rather peculiar. When I explained that the account wasn’t mine, they simply acknowledged it and ended the call. It felt somewhat authentic, but just a tad unusual, if you ask me.
