I received a call from someone inquiring about a vehicle collision I supposedly had a part in last year. Given the nature of my profession, where I'm frequently on the scene of rather gruesome accidents, I thought I’d have a bit of a laugh. I proceeded to describe, in vivid and grotesque detail, a rather gruesome accident that involved a decapitation. The bloke on the other end of the line lost his composure and started hurling all sorts of insults my way. As I attempted to disconnect the call, my phone decided to misbehave and freeze up. So, with a steaming cup of tea in hand, I left the phone on speaker and listened in amusement to his tirade of expletives for a good minute before he finally hung up.

Got a call last week from someone asking for my son just by his first name. I told them he’d moved abroad to Malta. Today, the same number rang again, and they asked for him again. When I asked what it was about, they just hung up. My son says he’s never shared my phone number with anyone.

fang 25/5/17 at 1.46pm tried to call me but I didn’t pick up and they left no voicemail. This seems connected to the 0191 300 6222 number that phoned at 6.38pm on 18/5 regarding a traffic accident, and also the 0151 958 9759 number which rang at 12.41pm on 16/5 about the same matter.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from a chap inquiring about an incident my girlfriend allegedly experienced. When I requested him to remove my number from their records, he persistently probed me with ‘why?’ I insisted on speaking to his manager, and he bizarrely lowered his voice, trying to pass himself off as the so-called supervisor. I caught him out on his little ruse, and he just chuckled before cutting the line. Quite the cheeky fellow!

I received a call on my work mobile, and the person on the other end addressed me using my birth name, which I rarely go by. They mentioned it was in relation to a car accident I was involved in.
