Just got another one of those chapati scams again. Honestly, someone should get in touch with their MP and push for proper rules that allow hitting these telcos with a hefty £50,000 fine each time they get reported for this sort of thing. That’s probably the only way to make a dent. Also, it wouldn't hurt to add a 2% anti-scam fee on all calls and invoices coming from India. These scams have already cost folks in the UK more than a billion pounds this year alone. Might be about time we struck back.
