They claimed my hubby was due £3000, which I've seen mentioned quite a bit. Told them to shove their cash where the sun don’t shine!

There’s supposed to be a £3000 refund coming back to me because of some bank interest overcharge, or so they said. The lady on the phone gave me some info (which I didn't confirm or even share my name), then just said someone would show up at my door at 10am. Honestly, it felt like a pointless call, just wasted time and ended up with nothing.

So, turns out there's supposed to be £3,000 owed to my mum and dad from old bank fees with NatWest. Problem is, these folks calling themselves Credit Advisory Group sound like total con artists. Their website gave me serious shady vibes as well. I told my mate who's stuck overseas to steer clear and not fall for any of their nonsense.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be Michael Smith, sounded like he had a strong Indian accent. He told me that Lloyds Bank owed me a big sum of money, which was odd since I've never had an account with them. The firm on the line was called Claim Advisory Group. They said all I needed to do was buy some sort of pay and save form, and then a solicitor would ring me to sort a cheque out in return for it. Seemed dodgy to me.
