Got a call from some bloke abroad claiming me and my husband were in an accident two years back. I told him it was rubbish since my husband died over a decade ago, said thanks for upsetting me and hung up. Then he calls again, so I let him know I’m on the TPS list, have his number saved and would be reporting him to the police and trading standards. Told him not to bother calling me again.

Got a call from this number saying there’d been an accident. When my wife denied it, he just kept insisting she was lying. He kept ringing us nonstop until I finally lost my temper and told him off. Tried calling the number back but it doesn’t seem to work.

some bloke said he was with the dvia investigation team. kept pushing for info even when i said i wouldn’t give any details on the phone. i ended up hanging up on him like 4 times. by the 5th call i let it ring to answerphone. didn’t leave a message and never got another call from him since.

I've received a call from someone with an Asian accent purporting to be from “Microsoft,” claiming that my computer has numerous issues. This marks the third time in just over a week! I had a chat with an IT professional earlier who confirmed it’s all a ruse. When I brought this up in conversation with a mate from Asia, the caller abruptly hung up on me. Quite the coincidence, don’t you think?
