I insisted they send me a cheque instead, to which-surprise, surprise-they were unable to comply. Curiously enough, right? Anyway, I held my ground, refrained from sharing any personal banking information, and turned down their so-called generous offer. The name they mentioned was UK Loans.UK Loans7 yearsI've been receiving persistent calls demanding that I cough up £30 for a loan. They’ve threatened that if I don’t settle this amount, they’ll hit me with a £150 cancellation fee. When I pressed them for additional details about their whereabouts, they abruptly ended the call. They identified themselves as Smart Loans.
