Got a bloke from India saying he's "Alex", trying to tell me I’d been in a crash. Rang me three times back-to-back. When I answered the third time, I told him to quit calling me. But he just kept yapping over me so I told him to get lost with a few choice words.

I get calls from this number about 9 times every week. It usually rings once then stops. I picked up once last year and told them to jog on, so I reckon they keep calling to annoy me. Reported it to Offcom and the ICO but, like always, no luck. This could be really harmful for anyone who’s vulnerable.

Got a call from someone claiming they’re with some investigation agency saying I owe £3,000. They were really pushy and it’s worrying thinking about how easily vulnerable folks could get caught out. Tried to get his details to report him, but he just said my name and my number instead. Proper dodgy situation. Hope something can be done to stop these scams.

So this number called me about an accident that didnt happen at all. When I asked where they got my info from, they just stayed quiet. Told them I was getting really annoyed since they ring me like every week calling me all sorts of names. Anyone knows how I can find out the company behind this? Cheers!

Got a call about a car crash. I said my accident happened in 2035. Then they asked my age. I said 42. They started doing some weird maths, then said I’m not 42. We got into a big argument and I told them to never ring me again. They shouted something like "forget the crash, you can still get at least 1000£." Total scam! Stay clear of these lot!

Really pushy scammer who keeps callin back even after I told them to stop. They follow a script, giving fake company info and an address. They wanted me to confirm an accident, which feels kinda different from the other scammers who had my accident info and said they worked with my insurer. They call themselves the Verification Helpline or somethin like that.

This bloke called claiming I had some sort of accident and asked if I could recall it (?!). When I asked for more info about the incident, he said he couldn't share anything due to data protection rules. He was also tight-lipped about where he got my number from. He said he was from a company called Road Traffic Accident and gave the name Danny Morgan. When I asked for his manager’s name, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from them today, 29/11/2018. Some bloke said they had a car reg i never had, and when i said that, the guy who sounded asian started threatening me. He said he knew my postcode and was gonna come round to sort things out and get to know me properly. Really scary and threatening bloke.

Got calls late at night, well after work hours, from a supposed accident scam number. Reported it to Action Fraud but they just brushed me off. The calls were from Manchester, and Ive also flagged it up with the Manchester police.

Got a call from someone with a strange accent claiming to be from the “claims department” about a car crash. I told him I don’t own a car and told him firmly to stop calling me.

When i told them not to call me anymore, the person got really rude and sounded like they were tryin to scare me. They kept saying stuff like ‘you’re in the UK so you gotta talk to me so i can call you; we’re representing you; you need to sign the letter i’ll send you and send it back.’ All that even after i said i wasn’t interested at all.

oh yeah they rang me asking if i'd been in an accident and i told them i had one, but it was back in 2015. they took down my info and later on i chatted with their solicitors. after a few days, i got a cheque sent to my house.
