I’m proper fed up with getting calls from this number, some guy with an Indian accent always telling me I’ve been in an accident! They ring me at least a couple of times every day on my landline, and I’ve been on the TPS list for over 5 years! Now that I’ve started working from home, it’s even worse ’cause I’ve got to pick up every time. Feels like there’s nobody who can or wants to sort this out. Seriously, I asked the bloke where he even got my number from and he just kept interrupting me, reading from some script. Got a call about a car crash I supposedly had last year and tried to claim for. I told the guy I never heard anything about it, and when I repeated I wasn't in any accident, he then suggested maybe a family member made a claim for me. I just said, "Listen mate, I’ve never been in an accident, and neither have my family. There's no claim to be made here, goodbye." Definitely a scam. Think they must’ve grabbed my number from Gumtree or something.

I got a similar call about an accident from the past few years. I really did have a no fault crash last November, and he already told me I could claim between three and four thousand pounds. We ended up chatting for nearly twenty minutes, and he picked up loads of info about me before hanging up. I didn’t give him any bank details, though. He asked for my National Insurance number and my passenger’s, but I didn’t hand them over. He said he’ll ring back on Friday or Monday asking again, but now that I know it’s a scam, I plan to mess about with him a bit.

Happened to me too, the guy said he was from some road accident management team, gave the name Abrahan Knan (pretty sure that's fake) then later said he was called Ahmad. He has two numbers: 02081333861 and 01618184784. He wanted me to speak to a lawyer and claim some insurance money for an accident I had like two years ago.

They called me a few times but I couldn’t pick up, so I tried ringing back but couldn’t get through at all. I wondered if there was something wrong with my phone. I even sent them a message but it bounced back saying it couldn’t be delivered. Then I tried their number from my landline and it just kept ringing without anyone answering. Told them to stop calling, but they went straight and tried twice more right after I hung up, then kept ringing every couple hours. It's honestly so annoying and borderline harassment. The only thing I could figure out was they said something like “auto claims” or something? If that’s really who they are. Definitely awful behaviour, I wouldn’t deal with them even if I’d been in a crash.
