01618182045 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01618182045 👆 is reported as linked to numerous scam complaints involving fraudulent calls claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. While a few users assert receiving genuine devices such as iPhones or Samsung models after payment, the preponderance describe non-delivery after upfront payments, misleading offers, or substituted products. These callers frequently request bank details and advance payments, then become uncontactable. The number is associated with spoofed UK numbers and persistent cold calls. Users strongly advise against sharing personal or financial information and recommend reporting scams to Action Fraud and contacting local MPs to urge stronger telecom fraud prevention measures. Vigilance is essential as scammers exploit trust in legitimate brands to defraud vulnerable individuals. Blocking numbers offers limited relief due to the breadth of spoofed caller IDs.

I received a call earlier from Carphone Warehouse, and they’ve only gone and sorted me out with the brand-new iPhone 13 for a mere £35 a month. Remarkably, it was delivered first thing this morning via DPD. Absolute result!

I received a call earlier claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, and they offered me some rather attractive deals. As a result, I’ve just taken delivery of a Samsung S20 5G, courtesy of DPD, this very morning. It’s astonishing how I only had to wait a mere two days to get my hands on it. Absolutely delighted with the whole experience!

Beware of SCAMS! If you want to report suspicious calls or messages, try searching for ‘action fraud’ and head over to the ‘police.uk’ website. There’s a section for reporting phishing scams - make sure you read all the info there. Then, add the details of the scam straight onto the police’s system, including any links or website addresses you received. This is really important because it helps the police track how widespread these frauds are. Don’t just ignore it!

What a downright scam! I spent a whole hour chatting away with one of their agents, who was trying to sell me an unbelievable deal that sounded far too good to be genuine. Whilst I was still on the call, I took the liberty of searching for the number online. Turns out, the entire operation is a sham. Best to steer clear of this one!

Somebody called me supposed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering an iPhone 13. They sent it over, but it was the wrong colour and had the incorrect SIM card. I sent it back and they sent another one. After a bit, I figured out it was all a scam! Honestly, steer clear of this!

Scammers at work! They called me with a deal for a phone contract at £30 a month, but after I paid upfront, they vanished into thin air. No phone arrived! Best to steer clear of any calls from this number or similar ones; they'll nick your bank info and address without a second thought.

I had a rather unpleasant experience with these blokes. They purport to be associated with Carphone Warehouse, but I soon realised it was all a ruse. They dispatched an iPhone 13 to me, but it was the wrong model entirely. When I returned it as per their request, I ended up empty-handed-never saw that phone again! Absolute con artists, if you ask me!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Alex at Carphone Warehouse offering a deal I couldn’t believe - two iPhone 11 Pros for just £30 a month. But instead of the phones promised, we ended up with iPhone 13s! When we rang them up to question this, they said it was an error. After that, it dawned on us it might be a scam. We’ve been trying to sort it out with O2 but they've not provided any packaging or even instructions on where to send the phones back. Quite stressful!

This operation appears to be a fraudulent car-hone warehouse scheme. They aim to coax you into sharing your bank information or making advance payments, promising returns that are nothing but laughable. The moment you receive a call from these blokes, do yourself a favour and block the number straight away. I’d done a quick search on the number while he was chatting, realised it was dodgy, and thought it might be amusing to play along when they called me again later - which they did. I let the phone ring out before blocking them, but then I was hit with four more calls all from various landline numbers scattered across the UK! It's absolutely baffling that the authorities aren't tackling this issue more effectively. Please, steer clear of these thieves; do not divulge any personal information, bank details, or, heaven forbid, hand over any cash.

Blimey! I've yet to see my iPhone 12 Pro Max! I’m honestly at my wit's end! I promise you, I haven’t laid eyes on that phone at all, and they've already deducted the cash from my account. This is an absolute shambles!

A woman reached out to me claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, attempting to sell mobile phones. She offered me an iPhone deal boasting unlimited data and calls for just £30 a month. I foolishly provided my bank details, and they managed to withdraw £80 from my account, setting up a direct debit in the process. However, I’m yet to receive my iPhone 12 Pro Max. When I try to contact them, it’s like talking to a brick wall. I’m at my wit’s end! All I want is my money back, and now I find myself having to change my banking information. This is utterly infuriating. Please, I urge everyone to steer clear of this number, 01618182045 - it’s nothing but a scam, I assure you!

Goodness gracious, you couldn't be more mistaken! I dialed this number and ended up purchasing a pair of iPhone 13 Pro Max devices. To my delight, they arrived at my doorstep in just two days, and I can confirm both phones are pristine and unlocked.

I got a rather unsettling call from this number on the 23rd of November, 2021, where I ended up discussing the purchase of an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Initially, I forked out £30 over the phone, but then the chap informed me that the payment hadn’t gone through, so I coughed up another £30. He assured me that my phone would arrive the next day. However, the following day I had yet another call, during which they apologised and mentioned that they could only deliver it if I paid an additional £28. Reluctantly, I paid that as well. Fast forward four days, and still no sign of my phone! I attempted to ring the number back, only to find they’ve blocked me. They do have a WhatsApp number, but my messages go unanswered. Just a word of caution - if you get a call from this number, tread carefully!
