Got a call from an unknown number and it showed scam on my caller ID. Didn’t leave any voicemail or anything. Just blocked straight away.

The call came up on my phone as "Possible Spam" thanks to Vodaphone, so I just let it go to voicemail. They didn't say anything when I checked the message, so I've blocked the number and reported it now.

Got a right disgusting call today from some call centre scammer. This bloke, probably working in some sweatshop, flipped out and started swearing when he realised his half hour trying to con a UK cop from a FAKE Manchester 0161 number was going nowhere. If these scam calls get your goat, I’d recommend checking out “scam baiters” or “call centre scam busters” on Youtube. It’s only a matter of time before these scammers in India get blocked from ripping off our elderly and disabled folks in the UK.

Got a call about a car crash they said I caused. Thing is, I don’t even have a car or drive, so it’s a complete mix-up. I just hung up straight away. Proper annoying calls!

Got another annoying call from some call centre, sound like a right faff. Just lumped it in with all the others and blocked it straight away.

I reckon WAVECREST NETWORKS LIMITED might be handing out phone numbers to others. Could be that's how some of these phone scammers get hold of numbers to use.
