These calls are just awful. The lot on the other end are nothing but sneaky fraudsters, and I've already reported them. Would be great to see them in person, but I reckon they’re just hiding behind their screens like cowards. I bet if you’re elderly, disabled, or going through a tough time, they’d jump at the chance to exploit you. Definitely not a respectable or honest business paying their taxes. Make sure you REPORT them!!!

I didn’t pick up, but as soon as I saw the missed call, I googled ‘who just rang me - UK’. The first review I found scared me a bit because it sounded quite harsh. The person said these callers never get shut down since hardly anyone actually reports them. They added that if you try to block the number or mention reporting, expect even more calls flooding your phone, so they suggested just going along with whatever they want. It was a bit unsettling to read, to be honest.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, she didn’t seem to get that I wasn’t interested at all and just kept pushing. I just let her keep talking, figured they probably don’t know those calls cost them money, so might humour her again next time.

I got a call from someone saying they were doing a brand survey and that they'd got my number from some survey I must of taken before. As soon as I started asking questions, they just hung up on me. Feels like a phishing scam to me. No idea if the number's real or being faked, but if it’s legit, why hasn’t the phone company sorted it? UK rules are meant to block spam calls originating here, so my guess is this was from India, spoofing a Manchester number. Definitely a SCAM in my opinion.

Received a call from someone claiming to be representing a home improvement company. They spoke quite eloquently and mentioned they were conducting a survey regarding government loft insulation initiatives. However, I decided to end the conversation and hung up.

Some bloke from India called me, real persistent bloke, kept saying he just needed 30 seconds of my time. Claimed he found my number on some public database - but I’m pretty sure I’m not listed anywhere like that. He then started asking what paper I read and whether I owned my house. I told him I wasn’t comfortable answering those, but he kept pushing on with the 30 seconds thing. He actually knew my address as well, which made me wonder how much info he had. In the end, I just stopped replying and he hung up on me.
