This number rang me at 7:40 this morning. I attempted to return the call but it said the number was unrecognised. Honestly, I don’t get why BT lets this kind of caller ID spoofing happen - surely they’ve got or could create the tech to stop it!

Got a call today from someone saying they were with Microsoft and that my computer was compromised. Totally a scam. I told them I wasn’t falling for it and just ended the call.

Today at 08:39 I blocked this number using Call Guardian. It's great to know it was a scam, and this app really does a solid job preventing these annoying calls. Also nice that it saves the number so you can check if calls are legit or dodgy afterwards.
