Got a call from a bloke named Michael claiming he was connected to the Consumer Council. I didn’t even bother to hear him out and just hung up straight away. Feels like a total scam to me.

Somebody rang saying it was about improving the house's energy efficiency, but I just said I wasn’t interested.

I've previously blocked this number, and it appears to have the same code and originates from Manchester. There's usually no one on the other end, or it tends to be some sort of sales pitch.

I got a missed call from this number and when I called back, it went to an answerphone message saying something like "Thanks for contacting our review team, everyone is currently busy on other calls." They didn’t say who they were or which company it was. Seems like a cold caller to me, so I’ve blocked the number now.
