I think it was a woman calling, though there was plenty of noise in the background. She asked about an accident I supposedly had. I had no idea what she was on about and asked when it happened. She said ‘the one i would have tonight’ and then just ended the call. Tried to ring back but no luck. Reported it to the cops.

They were asking for my bank info for some life insurance, but I asked if they could post me the details of what we talked about before I gave out anything over phone. Told them I'd just left hospital and wasn’t feeling great, sounded like they were trying to get me when I was vulnerable. Didn’t give any bank info and hung up. Blocked the number now.

This number kept ringing me so I finally picked up. It was some bloke trying to sell life insurance. I told him straight away that under GDPR he shouldn’t have my info. He then goes on about a phone book - does anyone even use those now? Can't believe my work mobile is supposedly listed there. He just laughed and asked if I have life insurance. I told him that’s none of his concern. He laughed again and asked if I wanted to be removed from his list. Clearly didn’t get the hint from me mentioning GDPR.

When you pick up, there's this recorded message about some digital survey or whatever and they say they’ll ring back later. Pretty sure they just want me to call them back.
