Got a call from a woman working in some sort of call centre, her voice wasn’t English and there was loads of background noise like a busy office. She said it was about insurance but when I asked what company, she didn’t have an answer. I just ended the call after that.

When I challenged him about which company, all he said was "life insurance." I told him straight, I’m not interested. This is the third call today! Blocking numbers is pointless because they just ring back from another one. The TPS does nothing at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a life insurance firm, asking about some “life insurance anniversary certificate” I supposedly received. They actually used a name I haven’t gone by in like 14 years since my divorce. As soon as I told them I work as an insurance and mortgage broker, the person just hung up straight away. Be careful with calls like this, it seemed dodgy to me.
