Got a call about a car accident scam, they wanted my personal info but I don’t even drive.

Got a random bloke ringing about my life insurance, couldn’t even say which company it was with. Told him I wasn’t buying it and have blocked the number now.

It was one of those PPI scams, and they had no clue how they got my number. When I asked them, instead of explaining, they just got all rude and started shouting at me. Proper cheeky. I stayed calm and mentioned the Data Protection laws, then the line just went dead.

This number’s been blowing up my phone for the past 3 months, sometimes as early as 7 in the morning and as late as half past 9 at night - honestly, it’s proper harassment! They call me like 3 times nearly every other day. Ive blocked their number loads of times. Then after a bit the last few digits switch and they call me again, but its defo the same lot. :)

Had loads of missed calls from something called ‘Road Traffic Association’ while I was busy at work. When I finally picked up and asked how they got my number, and told them I was working so needed to be quick, they just laughed and hung up on me. Proper annoying!

Got a call from a woman with an accent, said she was from the Road Traffic Agency and claimed I’d been in a crash two years back, which is rubbish. Didn’t answer after that and just blocked the number.

Got a call from some cold caller trying to find out if I’d been in any car crashes.
